Dealing With Resistance

 Do you ever set a goal for yourself but you find it almost impossible to stick to that goal? You are most likely dealing with resistance.  Resistance is the invisible force that keeps you from achieving your goals. An example of a goal would be a goal to eat healthier. If you find trouble in trying to achieve this goal, the resistance in this case could be as simple as your affinity to junk food or as complex as your relationship to food because food gave you comfort when you weren't able to cope with your emotions any other way. These two possible sources of resistance are just a few of possibly many. When you find yourself consciously wanting to achieve certain goals and feeling resistance to them there is some possible limiting belief, emotion, or situation that is keeping you from achieving your goal.  What you need in feeling any resistance would be to slow down and feel all the feelings you have and pay attention to the thoughts that run through your mind.
